Why Create a Custom Contract? A Custom Contract allows the user with the Kuchiyose Specialization to create a 'Family' of contracts under a single banner. If one were to create the Toad Contract, all contracts would be toad/frog/etc. The creator of the Contract may expand the Contract or even teach the Contract to someone else. Contracts are also required if the user wishes to enter Sage Mode.
Restrictions on Custom Contracts First off, the user is required to have the Kuchiyose Specialization to create a Contract. Someone with Kuchiyose is capable of creating up to 2 Custom Contracts. Each summon within the Contract must follow the same theme. There will be no "Robot" Contracts.

Template Explanation
- Spoiler:
:: Name: This is self-explanatory. This is the name of the jutsu. You can name it whatever you want other than giving it a Canon jutsu name. :: Specialization: What Specialization is required. If this is a Nintaijutsu, the applicant is required to put "Taijutsu" and a Ninjutsu Element. :: Jutsu Type: Is this offensive, defensive, summoning, weapon enchantment, armor enchantment, doujutsu, what is it? A list of Jutsu Types (general list) will be displayed later. Depending on the Jutsu type may have different rules. :: Rank: This can be anywhere between D, C, B, A, S. These will be full-letters with no (+). This will determine quite a few things.
::Chakra Cost: All jutsu, whether or not they actually use chakra or not will cost the user Chakra (for the sake of keeping things fair). List of Chakra Costs will be stated below :: Maintain Cost: If your jutsu is to last for a duration longer than 3 rounds (the round it is used and 2 more rounds after), then it'll require a Maintain Cost. Maintain Costs will be stated below.
:: Range: Range is dependent on the jutsu's Rank. :: Speed: This is the speed in which the jutsu will travel (if this isn't performed at Melee Range). This will use the same speed as a person's Battle Speed in the Movement Speed rules. :: Element: This only applies to Ninjutsu. :: Damage: Check list below.
:: Requirements: What is required for someone to use this jutsu? Be it a specific item equipped or specific stat requirement. :: Availability: There are 3 Availability choices one can choose from: 1) Open: Anyone who chooses Open will allow anyone to learn this technique. 2) Secret: Only the user may learn this technique. The original creator, however, may teach this jutsu to other people. 3) Clan Exclusive: If this jutsu is an 'offshoot' of a Clan Jutsu, the original creator may make this a Clan Exclusive -- where only others of the same clan may learn this.
:: Parent Technique: Did this technique derive from another? If so, anyone learning MUST learn the Parent Technique prior to learning this jutsu. :: Handseals Required: This will be explained below.
:: Jutsu Action: Simple, what does this jutsu look like and what does your character physically do as this Jutsu's action. This could be similar to forming together handseals, moving their hand up to their lips and blowing fire over the target. :: Jutsu Effect: Now that we know what it looks like, what does this do? If it deals damage, state it deals damage. If it deals a debuff, state it deals a debuff. Etc etc. :: Jutsu Weakness: All jutsu, other than generic buffs, require some kind of weakness. Jutsu Types Here is a list of standard Jutsu Types: :: Offensive: This is meant to deal damage to the target. :: Defensive: This is meant to mitigate or stop damage to a target (or self) :: Healing: This is a Medical Ninja exclusive. This allows the user to heal instead of deal damage. Damage will be replaced by Healing. :: Seal: This is a Fuuinjutsu exclusive. The user may perform a seal upon their target. :: Summon: If the user has a Contract and Summons, they are capable of summoning a creature from that Contract. :: Buff: This is a generic Buff to either self or a target. :: Debuff: This is a generic Debuff to either self or a target. :: Weapon Enchantment: These are for enchanting a user's or target's weapon. If performed out of combat, this will be permanent and will follow the Enchantment Rules for crafting. If performed in combat, this will only last for the amount of charges of the enchantment. :: Armor Enchantment: This will only apply to a user's or target's armor. If performed out of combat, this will be permanent and will follow the Enchantment Rules for crafting. If performed in combat, this will only last for the amount of charges of the enchantment. :: Bind: This will bind a target Some jutsu may have multiple Jutsu Types. If there are any more you can think of, let us know!
Chakra Costs/Maintain Costs Every technique has a chakra cost and every technique has a Maintain Cost. Chakra Cost will be paid up-front upon using and Maintain Costs will be paid at the start of the next round. :: Chakra Cost: D: 1 Chakra Cost -- 0.5 Chakra Maintain Cost. :: Chakra Cost: C: 2 Chakra Cost -- 1 Chakra Maintain Cost :: Chakra Cost: B: 3 Chakra Cost -- 1.5 Chakra Maintain Cost :: Chakra Cost: A: 4 Chakra Cost -- 2 Chakra Maintain Cost :: Chakra Cost: S: 5 Chakra Cost -- 2.5 Chakra Maintain Cost
Jutsu Range
- Spoiler:
This is the range that jutsu can be performed at. These only apply to Ranged Jutsu and not any jutsu that is performed at Melee Range. All Ranges will be in American Feet. :: Jutsu Range: D: 60 feet from the user :: Jutsu Range: C: 120 feet from the user :: Jutsu Range: B: 200 feet from the user :: Jutsu Range: A: 400 feet from the user :: Jutsu Range: S: 700 feet from the user These are the maximum distances for each jutsu. This does not include the size of explosions or size of projectiles. Along with the range of the jutsu, there are certain other Ranges that you can have: - Beam Thickness: While not everything should be a beam, things can have an AoE property of a beam such as a long bolt of lightning or a Ranton laser beam. The size of the beam is important! The following is the thickest the Beam can get depending on rank:
:: Beam Thickness: D: 3 inch radius in thickness :: Beam Thickness: C: 6 inch radius in thickness :: Beam Thickness: B: 1 foot radius in thickness :: Beam Thickness: A: 3 foot radius in thickness :: Beam Thickness: S: 10 foot radius in thickness
- Projectile Size: Some things are also thrown similar to projectiles such as the Hyuga's Vacuum Palm. These Projectiles will have their own size, regardless of shape equal or less than the following, depending on rank:
:: Projectile Radius: D: The size of a regulation baseball :: Projectile Radius: C: The size of a regulation basketball :: Projectile Radius: B: 1 foot radius :: Projectile Radius: A: 10 foot radius :: Projectile Radius: S: 30 foot radius
- Explosive Radius:
