Byakugan

All Hyuga are born with the Byakugan, at birth, generally being born with white eyes. It takes time, concentration, and training for a member of the Hyuga Clan to learn enough Chakra Control to to be able to utilize the full potential of the Byakugan. Those who activate their Byakugan can be seen with veins appearing upon their temples, pouring a large amount of blood into their eyes in order to use it properly. It was the Byakugan that made the Hyuga Clan a driving force in the shinobi world. While it isn't as powerful as the Sharingan nor the Rinnegan, it has the capacity to change into a rare phenomenon known as the 'Jogan'.

These Byakugan must be obtained in order:

D Rank Byakugan

Jutsu Type: Doujutsu

Activation Cost: 1 Chakra

Maintain Cost: 0.5 Chakra / post

Handseals: Horse - Tiger - Boar - Rabbit - Dog - Boar - Rabbit - Rat - Dog - Ram (Held)

The user of the Byakugan may activate the Byakugan by performing a long series of handseals and then holding the Ram seal until the Byakugan activates. Upon doing so, the user gains the ability to see in a near 360 sphere around them up to 100 feet visual range in the sphere (other than the blindspot beneath their thorasic spine), capability of seeing a target's chakra network, capability of seeing a target's 361 Tenketsu Points, with the ability to see through objects up to 6 inches deep. The user is capable of seeing through non-chakra maintained visual obstructions such as a smoke bomb while having issues seeing through chakra maintained visual obstructions such as the Hidden Mist Technique. This technique's activation is required to perform a series of Hyuga Clan techniques. With the Byakugan, the user may make Visual Sensory Techniques without the requirement of having the Sensory Specialization -- However, these techniques may only be available while the user has the Byakugan (of any rank) activated.

Handseals: Ram (Held)

After having a much broader understanding on the strengths and weaknesses of the Byakugan, the user may now only require to hold the Ram Handseal in order to activate the Byakugan. This technique builds upon the previous Rank of Byakugan allowing the user a visual range of 500 feet with the 360 degree sphere, the user now gains telescopic vision up to 1000 feet capable of seeing up to 1000 feet in the direction of their choosing with this being limited to their standard field-of-view. The user is now capable of seeing through obstruction up to 12 inches deep. The user now gains a + to their Perception.

B Rank Byakugan

Jutsu Type: Doujutsu

Activation Cost: 3 Chakra

Maintain Cost: 0.5 Chakra / post

Handseals: None

The user has now mastered the art of activating their Byakugan, now no longer requiring handseals to activate. This rank of technique builds upon the previous Ranks of Byakugan, allowing the user a visual range of 1000 feet with the 360 degree sphere. The user's telescopic vision is increased to 2640 feet (half a mile). The user now also has a firm understanding of the chakra system now being able to see if someone around them (including themselves) are stuck in a genjutsu. The user now gains a +1 Tier to their Perception.

A Rank Byakugan

Activation Cost: 4 Chakra

Maintain Cost: 0.5 Chakra / post

This continues to expand the visual range of everything the Hyuga has learned up to this point. The Visual Range of the 360 degree sphere is increased to 2640 feet (half a mile), their telescopic vision is increased to 5280 feet (one mile). Sight-based genjutsu cast by the user will have it's range doubled. The user now gains +1(+) to their Perception

S Rank Byakugan

The final and most complete version of the Byakugan completely expands the field of visual supremacy over all other Doujutsu and Sensory techniques. The Visual Range of the 360 degree sphere is increased to 5280 feet (one mile), their telescopic vision is increased to 10,560 feet (two miles). The user is now capable of seeing everything that happens in their specific sub-forum and is capable of reacting to things that happen within their sub-forum. While the user may not be able to hear anything, they are capable of seeing everything that happens within that sub-forum. The user now gains +2 Tiers to their Perception

Jutsu Action: To perform this jutsu, the user takes on the Gentle Fist style stance. This stance has the user hold a single hand forward, with their palm facing towards the target and a single leg forward -- with most of the weight being on the user's rear leg.
Jutsu Effect: This is a Fighting Style. While active, the user gains +1 Tier Speed and (+) to Reflex. Every Taijutsu weapon attack (non-technique) attacks performed on their target will seal 1 Tenketsu Point. Every Taijutsu Technique will also seal 1 Tenketsu Point per rank (D = 1, C = 2, B = 3, A = 4, S = 5). For each Tenketsu Point Sealed, the target will lose -1 Chakra and that Chakra cannot be regained by normal means. The number of Tenketsu Points that is locked, on a single target, will be tracked throughout the fight. If the target has all 361 Tenketsu Points sealed, they will be unable to use any jutsu for the remainder of the thread. The user's Taijutsu techniques also deal [True Damage] meaning that this will ignore all Armor Rating.
Weakness: Gentle Fist only works with Taijutsu and none of the techniques may be performed with any weapon other than Taijutsu weapons equipped. Gentle Fist requires the user to be able to see the target in order to target their Tenketsu Points in order to be effective. If the user does not have a good view of the target, Gentle Fist isn't as effective. While the user is in Gentle Fist, their damage with Taijutsu is also decreased by -X damage to compensate for the [True Damage]. The user's Strength Damage Bonus is not included and will be ignored when calculating [True Damage]. Gentle Fist also does not target Nature Chakra Pools and will not effect those Chakra Pools.

Jutsu Action: The user thrusts their palm directly into the target's body and injects a sufficient amount of chakra through their palms and into their opponent's body. The user
Jutsu Effect: The user deals Weapon Damage, including the Gentle Fist damage debuff, and seals 5 Tenketsu Points. The user may add additional chakra in order to 'Stun' their target, making them lose their next action. The additional chakra cost will depend on the target's Endurance Stat. This Chakra Cost is:

The user may not 'Stun' a target with X Tier Endurance and above.
The user may also inject more chakra that necessary. If the user injects Chakra equaling 1 Tier higher than the target's Endurance, they will cause 'Internal Bleeding' which deals X damage to their target for 5 Posts. Internal Bleeding cannot be healed nor be mitigated in any way.
Weakness: The target may only be stunned twice per thread. This also suffers from the same weaknesses as Gentle Fist.
